The Ozark Scenic Railway and Museum is a not-for-profit organization designed to bring an educational and fun train experience to Crawford County Missouri. We are determined to develop a 15" railroad that in Phase 1 would operate from Cuba to Steelville. This 10 mile railroad would be the longest of its kind in North America.

The organization is interested in acquiring a standard gauge railroad originally built by Frisco and now part of the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad system. The organization's goal is a challenging one, as there are many issues that will need to be overcome for the project's success. However, the area it runs through is spectacular Missouri Ozark mountain scenery and promises to be a terrific train ride if the dream is realized!
